I moved once again! Blogging is something I enjoy so much, however I find it quite difficult to get the right aesthetic and WordPress just isn’t doing it for me. So I’ve decided to move back to blogger with a fresh new blog and look. I’m so thankful to ever person that leaves comments and hope that you will all join me in my move. I also felt that a change was necessary after this summer. Thank you so much, Emma xx
Monday
Last week I got one of my disposable cameras developed, I took more photos but only the ones from my trip to Brighton came out well (which made me sad because I thought had some awesome ones from Human League at Hop Farm) Last week I went on a canal holiday which was so relaxing , just what was needed! This week I’m just getting things done before I leave to New York for a few days on friday, this trip is my birthday present so I’m so excited! Then I go to Spain for some much needed sun, I’m loving summer at the moment and don’t want to go back to school!

Today I went to the V&A. I had been dancing yesterday and I’ve had a lot on so I wanted to get away and have a day to myself. I recommend going to the Chris Nash exhibition, it was so stunning!

Sunday
Last week I spent some time in Wales which was, umm, fun. I’ve been wearing my new love bag and so far it’s been holding up well. All I’ve been wearing recently is a black or camel sweater, with dark jeans and converse which is nice for our lovely English Summer. This week I have another work experience, then I go on my first holiday (on a canal boat), how fun!

I love this editorial by Sofia Sanchez and Mauro Mongiello with Ashley Smith for Numero magazine. For me it brings out so many summer vibes and the pebbles rather than sand definitely remind me of an English summer! Work Experience was so good, I got to learn about branding and visual merchandising which was really fun, on Monday I’m off to Wales then next week I have my second work experience which I think will be very different, it’s so nice not to be at school!

Tuesday
1/2) A very lovely surprise birthday present
3) A birthday treat I bought myself from TK Maxx
4) My current favourite dress from the Zara sale
Just when I thought my presents couldn’t get any nicer, my Auntie comes and visits with this! I couldn’t believe it when I opened it! Although I have to establish one thing, however authentic it may look, it is (sadly) in fact an extremely good fake. This did pose a few ethical issues at first, if it was me I would never buy a fake for myself, but as it was a gift and so beautiful I just couldn’t say no! The sunglasses were a little treat I bought for myself once I finished my exams, I just loved the look of them (the fact they were £14 down from £85 also helped). It’s so nice just to be able to do anything without worrying about revision, I’ve been so busy since finishing exams, so far I’ve had induction days, been to exhibitions and currently I’m doing some really great work experience. I also went to the Hop Farm festival which was amazing.
Saturday
These are a few things I’ve received over the last week, some people have been very generous to me this week! I’ve decided to plan the items I buy, this way I only buy what’s on my ‘list’ which I think will be good. My birthday just happens to fall just before all of the sales start which is nice!
